Private Encounters is one of Stratford, Ontario's most unique and interesting stores. Opened in the summer of 2007, the shop has been recently purchased by Kathleen Bedford. But don't worry, things aren't changing very much. Private Encounters will continue to offer off-the-rack and custom created corsets for all sizes and shapes. There is still plenty of lingerie to help you feel confident and sexy. And, don't forget, that we carry the only stock of adult toys in Stratford. You can feel comfortable shopping in our quiet back room for whatever tickles your fancy.
The basic philosophy of the shop is simple:

Being a small shop, in a town heavily structured around tourism, we recognize the importance of our customers. Private Encounters is open year-round (with shortened hours in the winter months) to provide local residents and out-of-town visitors with everything you need for bachelorette parties, adult gag gifts, fetish wear and, of course, both off-the-rack and custom made corsets and other lingerie.
